Department of Education staff are subject to a number of bonuses and industrial agreements. This information includes data on wages, holidays, allowances, packaging and other conditions of employment. Prices qualify minimum conditions of employment and serve as a safety net. Agreements are collective agreements that set conditions of employment and additional rights for certain workers and their employers. The agreement contains a number of high-level general principles that guide the partnership between the department and the department in their representation of local councils and require both parties: agreements are negotiated more regularly (usually every 2 or 3 years) between unions and employers and registered by the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC). After registration, the provisions of the agreement apply to all workers in the workplace who are employed under the industrial agreement. The ministry is entering into negotiations for a new enterprise agreement covering nurses in the Primary and Secondary Program under the 2016 Department of Education and Training. It is important to read both the corresponding agreement and the bonus for the occupational group concerned, in order to understand the full requirements of a staff member. As a general rule, an agreement is entitled to award an arbitral award if they contain the two clauses that cover the same condition of employment and if they are contradictory.
